At Kabouterland Educare, we believe in an open door policy, which is why we invite you to contact us about any concerns or questions you may have about your little ones. We have your child’s best interests at heart, and we prioritise their health, safety, and happiness daily.

Between the ages of 3 and 4, children start developing emotionally. They begin to understand that their body, mind, and emotions are their own, and they start to understand the differences between feeling happy, sad, afraid, or angry. They also show fear of imaginary things, care about others’ actions, and show affection towards familiar people. They begin to be interested in playing and making friends with others, and become better at sharing. They will also become more imaginative while playing, and they become curious about their bodies. Their language develops a lot during this phase because they will learn by listening to adults. They will become more interested in story telling and communicating. They will start to speak in longer sentences. They become fascinated by the world around them as well, and will ask a lot of questions. They also start to remember rhymes. They also start to understand family routines, special events (such as birthdays), and become more independent. They are toilet trained, and are able to do daily hygiene tasks on their own. Your child will be active and will enjoy moving at this age. They will be able to draw, build, and will enjoy building their imagination. All the activities we do with the children during this class develops these skills more.
